Teaching Philosophy

Influenced by my own mentors, my approach to teaching music revolves around guiding students to develop a comprehensive understanding of music, instead of simply dictating instructions. I always try to foster a thought-provoking approach that equips students with the skills to perceive music profoundly and also practice efficiently.

I believe each lesson is a collaborative exploration between teacher and student, where new insights emerge through careful study of the score. By incorporating imagery and encouraging connections to the broader world, I help students not only refine their technical and interpretive skills but also develop a more personal and meaningful relationship with the music they perform.
